Director of Food Development
Danny’s passion for food started at an early age after honing his craft in some of the North West’s notable fine dining establishments. He decided the time was right at the age of 20 to pursue his dream of opening his own restaurant; French cuisine with a modern British twist.
From here Danny became part of the development team for Stonegate, Barracuda and Bramwel Pub Co’s, developing menus and imparting creativity across national brands such as Slug and Lettuce, Varsity and HA-HA bar canteen.
Danny then became head of innovation and new product development for a bespoke flavour house that opinionated food concepts with Europe’s biggest food processors and retailers.
Danny joined Waterfall in January of 2016 as Director of Food Development.
Quote “Whatever the occasion, there is always room for passion, creativity, care and above all else, a willingness to make it as good an experience as it possibly can be – food is the common language that we all speak fluently”.
Regional Food Development Manager
Starting my career at the Savoy London, learning how to cook and how to manage yourself.
I then moved to the Arundell Arms hotel Devon, learning about truly seasonal British cooking, with a focus on fish and game.
Deciding I wanted the opportunity to learn new cuisines I worked in Portugal and France embracing new food trends.
I then got the opportunity to work with Samworth Brothers on the M&S account. The reason they are the best retailer for food is they really live food and quality and are incredibly passionate and it's great to work with such enthusiasm and energy for food and pushing boundaries
